ALCOHOL: 12 % by vol.
VINIFICATION: After the crushing and de-stemming process, the grapes go through a brief maceration on the skins for about 1-2 hours and then are pressed. The must is stored for 24-36 hours at cool temperature and decanted. The alcoholic fermentation occurs at the controlled temperature of 16°C and the wine is aged on the fine lees for about 5-6 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Pinot Bianco Villa Caratti has a straw yellow colour with greenish hints. Delicate on the nose, emanates a floral bouquet and sweet scents of golden apple. Full and elegant, gives a zing of savoury on the finish.
FOOD PAIRING: As it is an elegant wine, it is perfect as aperitif and with main courses as soups, tortellini, potato dumplings, risotto and young cheese.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8°-10° C.
